Mr. Hess shaves his head after Mary Helen Guest Elementary students met their fundraising goal
Mary Helen Guest Elementary principal Mark Hess is rocking a new hairdo after the Wildcats' record setting fundraising efforts for this year's color run.
On Tuesday morning, Mr. Hess was forced to shave his head after the school surpassed its $22,500 fundraising goal. That was the grand prize for the student body after seeing Mr. Hess dress as Clifford the Big Red Dog, spend a day on the roof, dye his hair blue, and get colored running the track by students who personally raised over $250. Each of those other rewards were accomplished for meeting other fundraising milestones along the way.
